Meet the Founder.
River was founded by Michael Saxton, a worship leader at Salt Church in Gainesville, Florida and chaplain for the Florida Gators Men’s Basketball Team. With seven years of experience in product, sales, and marketing across the startup and ad-tech world, Michael began to see how technology could serve the Church — not compete with it.
Born from that vision, River exists to help church leaders steward their data well and make first-time visits feel deeply personal.
River believes that every person’s interaction with the local church — whether in-person or digital — should feel personal, purposeful, and rooted in the Gospel.
Through simple tools that connect data, communication, and discipleship, River helps ministries flow with clarity and care, turning information into meaningful next steps.
